Props to ESB poster Luckyboy for finding this clip. Thanks! :good

See 5:25 mark of the following Pacquiao-Cotto post-fight press conference:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoNOwdlzOT8[/ame]

This statement by Arum directly contradicts the words of Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach, who said he wanted to have the fight held at 145 lbs. Roach made his pronouncement after the Cotto-Pacquiao bout.

This is the first evidence I have seen from anyone involved with Team Pacquiao saying they don't care if the fight is held at 147 lbs. Guess we may find out, soon enough, if Pacquiao's camp wants to stick with 145 lbs or not.

There was an article published on ESPN.com yesterday that said the same thing.

"Bob Arum even suggested potential locations and acknowledged that his Filipino star is willing to fight at 147 pounds."

If they fight it will not be at a catchweight.

Floyd team has stated (though he is stupid not to get the pac fight) that they would go after shane if pac not available....

    :deal

I'll only believe that **** IF and when it happens. And that is a big IF. Only Floyd fans are living in fantasy that it is an easy win for Floyd. Floyd may surely win, but it aint easy.

He didn't cheat. He followed regulations. For every pound he owed 300k, I believe. So, if he paid Marquez 600k, he followed procedure.

Rumors had it that it was a late change in the contract. A day before the weigh in. They extended the fight so he had extra time to lose weight but seemed he had no intentions on losing those extra pounds and not telling the other side until very late is cheating.

That's good to hear...and Roach said he thinks the fight can be made at a 50/50 split. Everything seems to be going on the right track, now it seems all up to Floyd

So your argument is based on rumours. Interesting.

Floyd suffered an injury in training and the fight was postponed. Floyd doesn't have to report his weight to "the other side" until he steps on the scales. He paid his fine.
