Arum said that Pacquiao-Lomachenko can still happen in 2018.

"...because he (Papachenko) wanted to first test Lomachenko at 135."

Which weight class are they both going to fight each other?
Pacquiao is at 147 while Loma is at 135.

Pacquiao would probably want it to be at 140. Lomachenko has said that he'd do it at a CatchWeightâ„¢ of 137.

I think 138 should be fair.

I think Bob is hoping/waiting to see if Pac looks more shot vs Matthysse then he'll decide to put Loma in.

Cause i know most think Loma would win comfortably now but maybe Bob wants Pac to get more shot similar to how Mosley looked against Pacquiao.

Why is Loma not chomping at the bit to get a real bonafide ATG on his resume?

140 is fair. It's closer to 135 than 147, and a young, pound for pound guy like Loma shouldn't be trying to drain older shopworn stars to get an advantage.

It's rather a long story (a couple of topics on this forum already), but in substance, there are some obstacles:
    1) the weight category (realistically, it's 140 or very close to 140);
    2) some people in Loma's camp (his father, actually) understand it quite well, that even this Pac is quite dangerous.

What credit would he get even if he won? People would just say Pacquaio was shot to bits etc.

After Pac fought DLH, he became the #2 PPV attraction in boxing regardless of what the naysayers said.

Bradley and Donaire both believe that Pacquiao would win at 140. Loma has said that the fight doesn't interest him because Pacquiao is an old man and the win would mean nothing (he's dead wrong).

Are you saying that even an old, shot, drained Pac ain't the biggest win on Loma's resume?

It's all coming together quite nicely gentleman.

To be quite honest, im much much more excited to watch Loma vs Linares @ 135. However, TopRank+ESPN are building up Loma perfectly. He was featured against Rigo and now Linares on Saturday night prime time on basic cable.

By the time the Pacquiao fight is made in Nov or Dec on ESPN....it's going to attract a ton of viewers. The fight however is almost pointless and Vasyl understands this, hence the lack of personal excitement. Pac is 40yrs old....and couldnt land a counter on Jeff F'ing Horn to SAVE HIS LIFE.

120-108 (but i wont miss it for the world)

Don't understand why Loma and his team aren't begging for this fight. It's a big money fight against a faded ATG who will raise his profile. He should be all over this.

The weight in reality doesn't matter because there is maybe 10lbs separating them fight night.
