Bute will get no credit for this from the boxing forums unfortunately because Pavlik is coming off a loss

 

bute is kinda like a bigger better combination version of martinez with maybe better lateral movement


i cant see how pavlik can win this fight. he should get that german fella over and take and belt and then maybe cash out agaisnt bute

Pavlik should fight Andrade first before he goes to Bute. If he beats Andrade, then go ahead and try, if he loses, then stay the **** away from Bute and hang em up.

Either way, Bute blasts him away.

 

Arum would only get Kelly in with Bute if he thought Kelly was done. Because he's a ******* blood sucker. Anyway, this fight could really get made, I guess.

 

Bute doesn't have better lateral movement than Martinez. Not by a long shot, in fact he is much more flat footed and easier to hit. Martinez is twice as nimble.

 

Did Arum quit on K.P.?

 

Looks like Arum has thrown the towel in on KP, one last pay day, won't even risk a tune up.

 

No he'll get little credit because stylistically this is a perfect match up for him, I can't fathom a way Pavlik wins this fight.

pavlik cant rush in to this and go ahead and fight Bute. Andrade fights pretty soon if he wins he gots to fight him.

Hard to say but I have a feeling KP has really struggled w/ the weight recently. I think making extreme weight lose the week before the fight has left him exhausted by fight night. I know I'm in the minority but I think moving up in weight class will help KP in a big way. This dude has always had impressive power, w/ the ability to KTFO almost anybody w/ one good punch. His defense is less then impressive, however still a dangerous power puncher. Lost in the martinez fight is that KP actually figured out his awkard style for the middle rounds landing some decent punches. Now true martinez over came those rounds and looked impressive over all, but martinez is a world class fighter w/ a slick style most fighter struggle w/ the whole fight. KP needed to do something to revive himself and I think this is the right move. Choosing Bute for his 1st fight is a loafty goal which could back fire, or he could reinvent KP as a top tier fighter once again. I'd def like to see this fight and I'd also give KP a 40% chance of winning. If this fight is made KP deserves respect for accepting a huge challenge instead of a couple tune up fights.

 

wow he is throwing pavlik the lamb in with th wolf, he shud at least fight sakio bika or another recognised fighter. infact jaidon codrington wud b a good move but still.......... he will do all that and qwill still loose bute is the best guy in smw right now. i even think he beats all s6 contenders and also light heavyweifghts
