2 million.. when the first fight generated just over 700k UK and US combined? COME ON..

1 million buys UK+US is a good night at the office for the rematch. 1.25m would be a great night, 1.5 would probably be out of reach. No way are they reaching 2 million just on US numbers (Or combined for that matter). Not in a million years. Bob Arum is living in dreamland.

I don't know about 2 million but this fight has legs and I believe a lot of casuals will watch it, so it's get more
    that the original fought easily.

The original was a boring non eventful fight until the last round or two.

Predicting 2 million is just a tactic by Arum he uses in every one of his ppv fights.
Arum often predicts an outrageous unattainable number as a way to brainwash the puclic into believing
"Wow, everybody is going to be watching it, so I have to watch it too."
Simply a tactic to sell more PPV's.

In a time where we can now watch PPV type fights on DAZN for less than 20 bucks, selling 2 million ppv's for a boxing match
could only come with a fight of the century type matchup which Wilder-Fury is definitely not.

    Erm no.

1 mil would be a huge success.

For reference Bob Arum predicted Crawford v Khan would do more buys than Wilder v Fury 1.

Crawford v Khan did 150k PPV Buys.

Depending on how well they market this , 500-750 is the more realistic numbers.

    Have you lost your marbles?
700k alone stateside would be immense numbers.
But Bob is being Bob. He always makes these hyperbolic statements and people bite on em. Articles get written, people talk and his events get attention.

Well first fight did 325k in the US, so I'm going to guess this next fight does around 500k
