    Agree.

Arum wanted Mayorgra-Cotto on PPV, that tells you all you need to know.

Mosley-Mora was on PPV, and that was a way worse matchup than Cotto-Mayorga.

What i dislike about HBO is the fact they go for ratings instead of the best fights. Take Berto's next fight for exaample, they would rather give it to Cintron who jumped out of the ****in ring last time out than give it to his mandotry. HBO only want s to deal with in house fighters.

The heads at HBO don't know **** about boxing. Showtime will be taking over hopefully by 2012.

i thought there was a saying about biting the hand that feeds you

one thing i know, the networks don't need boxing, but boxing needs the networks

martirosyan is very good prospect. i'd pick him to beat Paul Williams at 154. Roach wouldn't even let Pac to spar with him in Wild Card. HBO should have given him a chance to fight Cotto for a bargain of $1.5M. would have been a wiser investment than the one they paid for a berto versus tomato can fight

Indeed, while promoters like Arum are obviously far from faultless I do think theres an arguement to be amde that Network control results in more dishoniest hype and greater barriers to big fights.

Networks do afterall have a much stronger voice in the media which which to sell there matches or build up a fighters persona and while promoters may fued theres often more room for them working toigether than there is rival TV channels.

    yeh

    Arums is the best at

    1> Monopolising the sport
2> Depriving the fans of all great fights that could be made because he wants everything in house
    3> Padding fighters records
