GL: Mayweather-Cotto, will it ever happen?

BA: "It certainly would happen if we had our druthers. Cotto wants the fight and I want the fight, Mr. Mayweather I doubt wants the fight."

GL: Although Mayweather would probably tell you you're in no position to make him any offers since he's Mayweather and your guy is the B side. In the past, you made it clear that you were willing to offer Mayweather $8M to fight Margarito, how much money is Top Rank willing to guarantee Mayweather for the Cotto fight?

BA: "First Mayweather has to indicate to us that he's interested...

GL: (cutting in) He never indicated that he was interested in Margarito and that didn't stop you making any offers?

BA: "I understand, but I've been through that once already with Mr. Mayweather and he will not fight anybody who has a remote chance of beating him. Until Mayweather says that he'll fight Cotto, I'm not going to do anything."

I love how Bob trys to spin it.. Also, earlier in interview, Leon ask Bob about CLottey and the title.

Basically, Cotto is suppose to fight the winner of Margo-Cintron. (Only if its Margo) and if it is Margo, Margo will vacate the IBF title, so Clottey doesn't get to cut in front and get his fair title shot. Clottey will fight for the IBF title this year, but it will be vacated or he will fight Cintron. :rofl ****ing Bob.

I meant belts....he is also the #1 p4p, does he really have to shout from a mountain that he wants nothing else but to fight Cotto

Dude no one will respond to this, cuz it proves that there has never been an offer from camp Cotto to fight Floyd. Its one thing to stand in front of a crowd and make grand gestures but yet a different one to actaully stand behind those words.

I think what Arum is wanting to say is, "Im not going to allow Floyd to beat another one of my cashcows, being that I have so few left"

I have little doubt that Cotto wants to fight Floyd, I dont think that Arum wants that fight for Cotto. Just as he didnt want the fight with Floyd for Margo. If he had he would have took the fight when Judah lost and the fight was offered to Margo.

    Arum is full of it.

Yet Arum stumbles around his words? I thought he made it clear in another interview that Floyd wants nothing to do with Cotto, now he doubts it?

He made an offer to Mayweather for Margo, he cant do the same for Cotto?

Dont be a *****, the facts are there.

PBF turned down Margo...and he rather join the WWE, than fight Cotto. I know your boy loves the money, but he also loves to duck real comp...even a obsessed floydboy like yourself can't deny that fact.:hi:

Margo turned him down first, you do know that right?

And Mayweather was never offered a fight from Cotto, even Bob said it himself!

The challenger challenges the Champion. Even a dumb obsessed hater like you should know that. :hi:

Yeah but what would be a fair offer in Floyd's mind after what he's making with Mcmahon and Hoya?

Oh and Margo never turned down Floyd

I seriously doubt Floyd Mayweather is ducking a guy like Miguel Cotto whos defense is ripe for Floyd to pick apart. Floyds a buisness man first and a fighter 2nd now. Hes going to get another win over Oscar to keep busy and make more millions and make a bigger name of himself for appearing in Wrestlemania and beating the guy his Dad was training. While Cotto could go and destroy Gomez and Margarito and solidify himself more as a guy Mayweather cant not fight and Mayweather will see all the green he can make and go for it.

There is none. Margarito's camp denies the offer was ever made. Mayweather's camp claims they made the offer right after Judah lost to Baldomir when they were trying to salvage a fight.

bottom line PBF isnt too enthused about Cotto...say Cotto and Arum dont want it enough and you may start believing it yourself, everybody wants to see this fight its a money maker, PBF wants big money vs has beens and no hopers hell rumor is Hatton wants a rematch...what will you say then? .please......
