Look guys Pacquiao is an atg we know that .
Hes an atg operating at the highest level at 40 years old. He can still crack. Now true he has nothing to prove anymore to anyone I get that.
However I'm a boxing fan I want to see the best fight best . Whether they are 40 years old or 21 years old

Bob Arum recently had this to say

“I would love to see that fight, I don’t think Manny [Pacquiao] can get down to 135. But probably we’d do that fight at a catch-weight of let’s say 138,” said Arum.

What do you guys 138 pound catchweight. Also I think pacs contract with pbc is almost up.

This fight would be a great fight.

It would tests loma out in every way and come on guys you want to see loma tested to the fullest. Well there is the best opponent available for loma
Pacquiao. Not mikey who got schooled by Spence coming off a loss. Nor Davis who's unproven
Pacquiao vs Loma makes sense even at a catchweight of 138. Pacquiao has done catchweights before .

This is possibly one of the biggest fights that can happen today

    High IQ vs High IQ

    it could be billed as

    "P4P vs ATG"

    Generations Collide!!

PAC is too old to be cutting off excess weight and would be drained and easy pickings on fight night. Loma wouldn’t get any credit for draining a 40 year old soon to be 41 year old fighter.

Loma should fight him at 147 or move on, since PAC is very beatable these days.

The only way I could see Pac having a decent chance here is if the fight takes place north of 140.

Would like to see this fight and would back Loma to win.
Remember Loma saying before that Pac is too old...

    Pacquiao KO1 VAL
I just can't see Loma recovery from Manny's early onslaught (yes, even at 40)

You can't duck a fighter who isn't in your weight class

Frankly, it's a horrible move for Pac to come down dramatically in weight at his age. The fight has no business in the 130's.

I'm a big Pac fan, but I don't care what the crazier ones say...you can't go down weight at that age without consequences, and Pac is barely a 12 round fighter anymore at 147 to start with.

I'm wondering if the catch weight would be 141 as opposed to 138 for the sole reason of having the welterweight titles on the line...

Lomachenko should fight Pacquiao at 147. He would be fighting a lightweight that is competing at welterweight

Pacquiao is 148-150 on fight night.

Salido was 148 on fight night.

Lomachenko could win a welterweight title to add to his legacy.

Pacquiao's last 5 opponents were much bigger men than Lomachenko and Matthysse aside, very durable men:
    • Thurman (dropped and badly hurt, must have weighed 165)
    • Broner (badly hurt and running for survival)
    • Matthysse (KO'd)
    • Horn (badly hurt in Round 9; must have weighed 170)
    • Vargas (dropped; boxed to survive the rest of the way)
Against Lomachenko, Pac will be fighting someone smaller than him and not giving up 15-20 pounds in size.

    Pacquiao KOs Lomachenko. EASILY.
