I think I'd rather see GGG pound the life out of Jr, getting some much needed exposure in the process.

Watching Ward dominate and embarrass him is a nice plan B though.

Totally agree! Don't know what Arum's smoking? His time has come and gone. Promoters need to search the continent for some throw back fighters willing to master the craft and perform at he highest levels. I for one and so tired of this bs the promoters are feeding us and expecting old school fans to eat the crap at a premium dollar. LOL..LOL!

Both good fights regardless of what most think...
As "limited & crude" as everyone claims JCC Jr. is whoever beats him will have to be able to take his punches @some point in the fight.

Maybe a "Chin" gauge for both GGG & Ward.
(Andre has been dropped by less, Just sayin')

It's hardly as if Jr is some murderous puncher though and, if it's Ward, the punches are bound to have less effect on someone who isn't much smaller.

I'd be more than happy to watch either man beat the dog sh** out of Chavez.

i highly doubt chavez fights ward or ggg next .. maybe in the near future but next i dont think so. after the mess last saturday and his weight issues. there going make sure they can solve there weight issues and find a comfortable weight for jr to fight at. i think it is time for jr to move up to 168 even tho he says he can still make 160 which is a bunch of crap.

jr needs to fight another solid fight come in at 168 on the weigh in .. and jst fight a game opponent. after that it will be time for ward/chavez at 168 and who knows by that time ward might be at 175

theres no way jr fights either of these two guys.

if arum makes the fight then hes cashing out before jrs appeal can fall even more.

canelo and jr could not have done any worse in their last fights.

Funny how the haters would love to see Chavez in with Ward or GGG coming off a way below subpar performance.
All these idiots do is complain about having to watch his fights.
Who the hell is forcing you clowns to watch Chavez?

Now you all want to see him vs Ward!

Listen clowns, this is whats going to happen.
Chavez will rematch Vera. Train proper, and totally outclass Vera likely knocking him out.
Then you haters that have nothing better to do will say he knocked out a bum.
You'll say Chavez has'nt earned a shot at Ward.

Coming off a subpar performance you'd love to see Chavez in against Ward.
Coming off an impressive performance against the same fighter, all of a sudden he has'nt earned it.
This is how hating works! :deal

I read that Chavez Jr. will rematch Vera in December.

I do not want to see Ward or GGG fight him unless Chavez does something to make that win relevant.

If Ward beats Edwin decisively, that would be a better victory than a potential one over Chavez.

Yeah, that was what, almost 10 whole years ago?

That sounds like the people claiming Wladimir has had a glass chin for the past 5 years and still does.

Ward embarrasses Jr. for 12 rounds and likely stops him late. If not Jr. ends the fight looking like elephant man.

Doubt this fight ever happens though, Jr can't even beat Brian Vera ffs.

yep but I doubt Jr is still able to make 160 anymore. Its hard for him to make 168 but 160, so a fight with 3G don't think will happen, only if 3G wants to move up @168/170.

Probably Bob will match Jr with Ward cuz the fight will be at a higher weight ( although even @ 168 Jr is drained :yep). For Ward will be good exposure and easy big money.

A fight @ 168 that I'd like to see its JCC vs Carl Froch. That would be entertaining.

This could be what might happen tho. Even before the Vera debacle, people were beginning to have doubts about Julio Jr, if he can't pull his sh#t together very soon (like next fight soon) his stock is gonna drop into the red.

I know this interview was pre-Vera, but Bob's still a businessman. The time might be coming, and real soon, to cash out on Jr. If junior ain't gonna commit, Arum may as well put him in 'gainst Ward or GGG for the payday, 'cos another joke fight like the last and no-one's gonna watch him anymore.

Meanwhile the wheels are turning in Arum and HBO heads. Why not do a rematch between Jr and Vera.A **** load watched the first one and now they can sell Vera as a real opponent.Of course,Jr will come in shape this time around and murder poor Vera, but they will get even more viewers in this time. And while they are at it-place on Dec 14th to screw up Showtimes plan for the shitty PPV starring Broner.2 birds with 1 stone theory.:thumbsup
