You're overlooking the most important message: Arum will not allow co-promotion. Like I mentioned before, we're still getting good fights (ie. Montiel-Donaire and presumably JuanMa-Gamboa, etc.) but as a fan don't you think you deserve maximization? Sure, we might see a bout involving Pac and Bradley but that's IF Bradley signs with TR. Aside from that, why should we accept recycled matches like Pac-Cotto/Margarito?? Fighters should absolutely fight the best competitors. And if two elite fighters who are at the top of their game are on a collision course, it's pretty damn pathetic that we're guaranteed to NOT see them fight just because they are not from the same promotional company.

Arum has allowed his cash cow to fight outside of his stable. Can we say the same for GBP?

And of course, it's ALL Arums' fault those fights fell apart? :huh

When was the last time Mayweather fought someone who wasn't with GBP? Or how often does GBP co-promote with others? Arum isn't doing anything that other promoters are doing themselves.

Look, the point is, MANY MANY posters are of the impression Arum only puts in-house fights. As others have shown, he can work with other promoters. So their argument is null and void, even if it's a few.

And calling Arum the worst is just fanboy talk. The worst? ****, he's still the best and most effective promoter today, personal feelings aside. Two major fights in Dallas, one in NYC w/ Cotto at MSG. And now this potentially HUGE deal w/ CBS/SHO? The worst? Please...most just hate him for personal reasons or search for something to hate on.

98% of what Arum has said in the last 5 years has been proven to be false.

Arum is a big bulshiitter that says anything to make a story sound good.

The guy used to be a lawyer, a manipulator.

Arum is a big bullshiitter, that has kept Pac from fighting Soto, JMM a 3rd time, and other tough fighters.

Those TWo major fights in Dallas, were FIXED FIGHTS.

What will it take for people to see who is causing half of the confusion in top level Boxing today?

This cat is 79 years old with one foot in the grave and doing his best to RUIN Boxing!

Two wrongs don't make a right.

So we're getting a few more slices. Big deal. Why can't we have the entire pie?? MLB, NBA, and NFL fans never have to complain about things like this. I usually keep a cool head but if we don't speak up about it then nothing will change. It will remain part of Boxing forever and I'm not going to play along just because a few people tell me to smile and keep my mouth shut. It's bad enough that a fighter like Floyd is too lazy to get in the ring. Now we have promoters who are putting all sorts of road blocks into negotiation.

It's not about complaining about a broken nail, here. We're not exactly asking for front row tickets either. We just want ideal fights to happen as much as possible without hesitation and road blocks.

Goldenboy does the same sht. Do you think he will be a free agent still if he fought Khan? But I do rather see him go to GBP. Better fights for him. Arum just have one cash out fight. GBP has many fights but can up his legacy in 140

Have you ever considered the possibility that GBP is holding things up as much or more than TR? Weren't the Pacquiao-Mayweather negotiations enough evidence for you?

People just LOVE to blame Arum for all of boxing's ills. Especially when a brunt of those fans are Mayweather fanboys or old bitter DLH fans.

Arum is FAR from a saint, but he's still the best, and only real promoter in the game today. Most of the others are just managers selling fights to the cable networks.

It has worked. I would not be surprised if Bradley go for it.

....and this how Shane got to fight Pac. This was how TR got Valero and re-signed Cotto.

He categorically stated he wanted Floyd Mayweather to fight Pac and even initiated the negotiations. You know what Floyd did.
