Bob Arum: Teddy Atlas is Lying, I have a 3 Yr Contract Left on Manny Pacquiao

Considering that Cotto jumped ship, Margarito retired, JuanMa got exposed, and all of Pavlik's issues -- Arum really is relying on Pac to carry the promotional banner on his back.

All the more reason why Arum benefits from Bradley getting the nod over Pac because now, he (TB), becomes a potential draw who could fill the void left by the other fighters.

 

Yeah that 'but' he threw in there says it all. Is there any statement coming from Mayweather or Ellerbe, Schaefer or even Haymon that they ever agreed to 50/50. Many seem to believe they did, including Bob Arum, during early negotiations. I myself, cant recall a direct quote from Mayweather,Schaefer Ellerbe or Haymon, the only people who would have that information, saying that they did agree to 50/50.

Teddy didn't lie, at least not in the interview that I heard. He speculated that Pacquiao's contract may be coming up and that Bob Arum may have been the one behind the decision. :deal

maybe Arum snuck a signature during one of their dinners in prep for the Bradley fight or something..

 

Top Skank is notorious for sneaking extension clauses into their fight contracts. I wouldn't be surprised to find out they had Manny locked up for another ten years... Let alone three.

He resigned a couple years back, that's how long ago GBP stopped listing him as a fighter on their website. People love to lie and say Golden Boy are still taking a cut from his fights, that hasn't been the case for a while. That disputed seven fight contract ended around Cotto/Clottey.
