Bob arum-the fight can be saved!

That's exactly what it is, Pit. But these morons would rather follow down Bob Arum's slippery slope knowing that this old school New York gangster is an habitual liar and a thief who has screwed so many fighters over the years. These dolts just want to anyone, even a thug like Arum, to front for Manny's obvious reluctance to submit to a drug test.

 

Arum is a lair and has always been. Pac should agree to the testing.

 

Manny's not going to bow down to Floyd Mayweather.

The Mayweather's are trying to set up a situation where Pacquiao either submits to these tests and "clears his name" or doesn't and be labeled a roid user. Really ****ing ridiculous.

He is not the snake you make him out to be...it seems, as of the last few years, that he is the only promoter in boxing who consistantly makes great fights that the public is interested in seeing. Can't say the same for Floyd, Don king, Lou Dibella, or Dan Goosen. it also seems like he actually cares about his fighters and nurtures their careers the right way...guaranteed, if he represented guys like Mickey Ward or Fernando Vargas, their careers would have turned out differently.

 

Unless the contract is signed by both parties, everything in the note is subject to negotiation...you guys make it seem like it was written in stone.

 

What will make the sport look better is for athletes to stop making accusations that aren't justified. There is really no evidence to support the accusations made by Floyd Sr...this issue is a moral one...this is why the fight is in jeopardy.

 

Well if the fight does not happen Floyd's legacy will take a battering, hope Pacman fights (& beats) either SSM or Berto. What will Floyd do then?

Notice I didn't mention Golden Boy in my list of bad promoters. it took a lot humility for Bob Arum to do business with DLH and co. after the way Arum was treated in recent years. Arum nurtured DLH and Floyd's careers, making them stars...only to be **** on in the media.

 

They both branched off for the same reason...greed.

Arum is the best promoter in boxing...hands down. He is not a former criminal like Don King or Bernard Hopkins...he is a former CIA and white house aid.
