Really. What does manny do in March if he doesn't fight PBF. Where is he going to get a 15 million dollar purse at? Manny took less against Delahoya and will take less against PBF. Mosley:lol:

Those 1 million buys ****ed everything up!

In the words of Dave Chappelle" They shoulda never gave that negro no Money!"

My guess is that it will be pride issue at this point.

Any place that breaks down the demographics of those buys? I'd be very interested to see WHO did the buying.

Fully agree. Cotto had to sign on for another 2 yrs with Slob, so I dont think he wants him fighting PBF, because when PBF gives him a thrashing, no more big lucrative fights :deal

I do generally think Slob would like PBF to fight Mosley first, just to see how he looks, and if he inflicts a thrashing on Mosley (which I think will happen), say bye bye to a PBF-Cotto (to protect cotto for another 2 years) or PBF-Pac (provided Manny decides to stay with Slob).

If Manny had half a brain, and I suspect he doesnt, he will leave Slob and become a lone ranger. If that happened I can promise we will see PBF-Pac, with 55-45 in favour of PBF.

Arum's honest assessment just happens to be inline with his interests.

Floyd should face Mosley in my view, he's a credible contender, the current "man" at 147 and a guy who will make money.

In my view they should try get this signed for early 2010 - so the Cotto/Pac fight is a natural follow up to that.

Whoever comes out ontop of those fights will be universally seen as a legitimate ATG.

****ing hilarious! Wasn't it after Pac-Hatton when Arum said if PBF wants Pac then be my guest.:yep Arum is full of **** he knows PBF will work both of his fighters in Pac and Cotto and the thought of that is too much for him to bear.:rofl:lol: So know he wants to put PBF off on Shane when either PBF-Cotto or PBF-Pac is the bigger fight.

Seen the pix of Pac with Arum after the Hatton fight? If you total all the cards in the Pac/Marquez fights there is a one point difference. Pac is a superstar and Marquez is chasing him for a fight. Well, was. The difference? Think it might be promoters? :think

I like maywheather but im tired of him taking fights that are so obvious that he is going to win. I was not the least bit shocked after he beat Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, or Marquez despite the heavy build up. I have thought for the longerst time before floyd retired that he needed to fight either mosley, williams, cotto, maragarito or cory spinks. Now I would narrow the list to Williams and Moseley. Cotto I think has declined since Margarito and the Clottey fight shows it. Margarito is still tough but garners no credibility or interest. Spinks who I think is fast enough and awkward enough to beat Maywheather is just so boring and uninteresting. Moseley is fast enough to hit maywheather. Has big KO's recently against Mayorga, Margarito, and Vargas. He posses the combination of speed and power to beat Floyd. Paul Williams is so tall and lanky that he has the ability to fight on the outside. If he dominates distance he can limit Floyd's speed advantage. Also his KO over a fast Quintana shows he can catch a quicker opponent.

The fact that he beats the **** out of Mosley and has people like you hating him for doing it, doesn't come into it.

Like I said, I think he should have these fights too, but I don't think he's a chicken **** because he hasn't already nor do I think JMM was a weak challenger.

Actually out of Mosley, Cotto and Pac Shane is the second easiest fight. I wouldn't mind the fight but we've been down that road before with Oscar. Before that fight everyone said no excuses and if PBF wins we'll give him credit. When PBF does win everyone makes excuses and says that Oscar was shot and a prime Oscar kos him. This is the same thing that will happen guaranteed if he fights and beats Shane. People make excuses after every PBF fight and win it's ****ing ridiculous. When can the man get some ****ing credit? Chico distracted and drained, Gatti a bum, Hatton too small, Oscar Shot, G.Hernadez shot, JMM too small I could go on and on. I just want to see the man get some credit and he won't get any if he fights and beats Shane Mosley.

It was Mayweather that said Marquez "had a whole country behind him". Sounds like HE was counting on that support. Seriously, I'd love to see the breakdown just so we would know.

Cotto is Floyd's hardest challenger at 147 in my view.
Williams is his hardest challenger (if Williams can still make 147, been a while)
