i thought manny always said he lets arum and co decide who he fights next...he spouts out the same line as cotto after fights and yet when his promoter has actually got him not only A fightm, but THE fight he wants to go into politics.......

well manny and co have been setting up fights where their opponent isnt 100% but now that the tables have been turned they dont like it. and yes he needs to quit this politics **** until he retires. If he really wants to make a difference in his country he'll take the mayweather fight and donate all of his winnings to rebuilding his community. Hell even half of his winnings would go a long way....much longer than him in some political chair.

But if not then (The date his team set) then when? He is going into politics!

You guys say he can't do it in March - OK
He has to campaign starting March 25th - OK
He will probably get elected - OK

There is no time for the fight! If not then then when? After he is holding political office? Huh? Suffer a concussion in office? Really?

I really wish he does. Be a man and choose. Don't accept challenges then run.

he wants a hand in the mega bout. of course arum wants pac to fight. But from my perspective, it does look like pac is doing the ducking.

Is all of this legit? I ask because I listened to Freddie Roach the other day and he said he, and Pac want the fight in March. Now if Mayweather has agreed and it's Pac wanting more time something doesn't quite add up. I mean, it be seriously ****ing stupid to try pulling out of a March date when two days earlier your trainer said that was the month you wanted the fight and it was the other fighter who wanted it later. Roach to me is a very smart man, so seriously as things stand, I'm taking all of these stories as BS. I hope they are for Pac's sake as if not, it looks real bad for him in the eyes of the public world.

    Can you blame him?

Money-wise this will be the biggest fight in boxing history and Arum desperately wants not only the money but his name/his company being mentioned as a co-promoter of the biggest fight in history.

Hearing many different versions is very normal when a big fight is being negotiated, it's a part of keeping fans on fire waiting and different reporters earn much needed clicks on various sites. :yep

Everything should be clear in a week or so at most.
