Not out of the realms of possibility.

Holmes wasn't 50lbs bigger and 8inches taller with a 10inxh reach. Also Holmes looked way past it. A Prime Holmes gives Tyson a much harder fight. Styles.

I think we''ll see the real Fury (overrated or elite fighter) only after USyK or Joshua.

Fury doesn't need an ATG chin to beat a 5'10", 220lb Mike Tyson.

He would outbox him from the outside, being out of range for Mike to have good success there, and tie him up when Mike rushes to do inside work, smothering him and bullying him on the inside.

Mike getting mauled inside by Fury every time he rushes in would begin taking its own toll as the fight progresses.

Fury may get dropped at some point. Ok... and he will get up and proceed to dominate the actual fight mechanics.

    Fury has...

    - The skill advantage
    - The size advantage
    - The style advantage
    - Stamina for days

And completes the package with extreme mental toughness... something very useful against Mike.

Picking Mike against Fury is the equivalent of just saying well Mike has power and would just knock Fury out.

Picking Mike here is picking the hail mary shot...

Skills, traits, size, ability, styles.... literally nothing else favors him here.

    Just imo of course.

    I can agree with that.

    They will show all, imo.

    Let's hope they happen lol.

It is not especially hard to tie Mike up on the inside.

How and why people don't think Tyson Fury wouldnt be doing exactly that, and wearing Mike down trying to grapple with 270lbs, any time Mike tries to work on the inside, makes no sense to me.

Fury would have little problems wrestling Mike on the inside.

The inside would not be Mikes territory.

However if a well concentrated Mike finds a route for the right hand Fury hes always out of the way imo. Mike is a better finisher than Wilder

Mike didn't just have power over Fury but an immense edge in speed and yes that power was in both hands, not just a loaded up right like with Wilder.

Also Mike was a 5'10" man who spent his whole career beating guys with massive height advantages over him, that was literally what he was known for. He wouldn't let Fury operate on the outside he'd bum rush in and fight him up close.

At his prime he was 218 lbs of bundled fast twitch muscle that would explode. Regardless of his height and reach he was an exceptional genetic freak athlete.

Who were the fighters he beat with massive height advantages?

Secondly... he could bum rush all he wants, he would get met by 270lbs and would get wrestled and mauled.

A 5'10" 220lb getting leaned on and mauled round after round by a 6'7" 270lb fighter whose no slouch in inside fighting himself, really isn't a winning strategy.

    Tyrell Biggs 6'5"
    Tony Tucker 6'5"
    Bonecrusher Smith 6'4"
    Frank Bruno 6'3"
    Razor Ruddock 6'3"
    Larry Holmes 6'3"

No they were not at the level of Fury or his exact height, but my point is Mike was very used to fighting men with large height advantages on him. Also how many of Fury's opponents were at Mike's level?

Mike's low center of gravity and thick legs would actually make it harder to push around for Fury than Wilder and his spindly chicken legs were. Look at AJ and how his height advantage over shorter fighters could and was negated multiple times now.

Oh please, take those 8 inches and shove it up your arse. Thats its only use. Furys size and reach have done eff all when he got floored by cunningham, and smashed by Wallin.

Wilder is underweight and he put Fury down with ease... fury is 80 pounds heavier forget 50.

    Gypsy queen carrying dead weight,

85 inch reach and likes to fight up close? What a dumb arse Fury is ay.

Exactly as I keep reiterating, Fury has been floored badly by skinny anorexic heavies. Look at the difference.. Wilder 6 foot 7 and 210

Mike is 5’11 ish and 220 of pure muscle. No flab. Big difference in distribution of weight. Tyson has thick powerful legs which is the driving force of every athlete on the planet. Thats where power and stability come from. When you want to push someone off of you you use your legs to drive up and into the opponent. Bench press as Wilder was doing is effing useless.

The Fury from his second fight with Wilder gives Mike a real bad night.

The Fury from the first or third doesn't survive.
