    Why didn't Floyd just wait ONE day later before announcing his return and fight the P4P #1 fighter instead of Marquez?

    arum should call the may 5th bluff if floyd's offer to fight is true. but to site a quote from arum while floyd is on vacation for the current status is quite idiotic.

    ORIGINALLY THE PLAN WAS TO FIGHT JMM (#2) AND THEN GO AFTER PAC (#1)..

    THEN PAC BACKED OUT 3 WEEKS INTO NEGOTIATIONS WHEN HE DENIED A DRUG TEST..

    THEN HE RAN TO CLOTTEY INSTEAD OF FIGHTING A MUCH MORE VERSATILE FIGHTER LIKE FLOYD.:deal

    Here you are justify it again. It doesn't matter what Floyd was doing while he wasn't fighting, it doesn't justified Arum hinting of the possibility of making Bradley fight Manny next year when he had all the time in the world to made it happen this year. It's like the rumors of Bradley signing with Top Rank, and we all know that it came official months later. You don't plan things ahead that way, if you're truly serious of making the fight happen.

    There's not much info out because unlike the first instance, this was behind closed doors. If you recall they were to put a gag order (which Arum still had trouble following). Only both teams and the HBO president would know all of the details but what was leaked at the time was both Arum and Oscar claiming that "all issues have been resolved" and that "we're really close to making the fight." Prior to that there were some small issues like 60/40 being discussed and 14 days vs 0 days and the like.

    listen im not a floyd supporter nor pac. i dont like neither. but, im a fanatic like everybody here and i pay attention. and all i know is pac has said more bs than floyd in the press. it doesnt take a genius to know whos lying and whos not. i know hes your boy and everything so it is obvious u r gonna side with him. but, im an intelligent man whos been around the block. its gonna take more than sugar coating to blind my eyes

    Team Pac really don't want the Mayweather fight. Arum is trying to save face from loosing to Floyd and Manny wants to go out without another lost on his record. So expect more games and excuses to be played, to why this fight might not get made.
