Honestly I think what Arum is trying to do is get Espinoza fired to eliminate GB's control on Showtime. If Espinoza can't bring in the best possible shows because of his affiliation with GB, Showtime execs could cancel his contract early. He already lost out on the ppv, while it was officially due to a rash of injuries, Arum counter programed him from the start with a stronger show.

 

GBP seem to be going the right direction. No one cares what Bob does.

i actually beg to differ. they are putting on great fights. but getting no financial reward for it.

if you look at the ppvs ...outside of mayweather...gbp has done atrociously. not only that mayweather gets a bigger cut cause he takes the risk in promotion. gbp's cut is just cause they are licensed in nevada because they do enough shows.

 

Showtime boxing has been tremendous this year compared to HBO, so I'm not understanding what you mean by they are going to ****?
