Pacquiao came into the picture of the negotiations after Arum already agreed on the 50/50 purse split offer . . . let's be clear about that.

I doubt very seriously that Arum went through and did'nt consult with Pac about the 50/50 split........

.....and even so, the fact of the matter is that both sides promoters got together and came to a compromise that 50/50 was fair........if all there was left was to present it to the fighters for approval, Hatton approved it and Pac did'nt.

Pac feels he should get 60% and so the fight is likely not going to get signed......

Who's in the right on the situation??????......all I know is that Freddie Roach who has always looked out for Pac's best interest, is dissapointed that Pac is'nt accepting at 50/50 split that he thinks is more than fair......

.....and apparently most of boxing fans in forums like this feel the same way that Roach does.

Maybe Golden Boy Racketeering just wanted a Pac/Hatton doubleheader and HBO obliged them as is often the case. In other words, now Oscar and Richard may finally even get their long and pathologically awaited revenge against Pac via Marquez.

    All great fights though!

Pac never had to be in the room to have agreed. Lots of post, no substance.

You'll find lots he posted, but without substance. It seems to be based n the fact Pac wasn't in the room. If only there were some object he could pick up and magically talk to Pac while Pac wasn't in the room. We can only dream of such a device...... Isn't Pac worried about being a new father? Wonder why Pac wasn't in the room... DAMNED mysterious.

Really? Arum said Pac was using the rest room . . . when he mentioned 50/50 split with his team . . . and you believe that ****?

. . . and later on claim that . . . Pac verbally agreed? :think

There's something wrong with your brain buddy . . . common sense. :-(

Yeah . . . no substance . . . you were saying that Pac was always in the negotiation and I was asking you for the souce and link and then come back to me with all your craps and bullshits . . . saying there's no substance.

Make your life easy . . . Hermit (or are you Arum in disguise?) . . . go back to your cave and get the **** out of my thread. You don't know what your talking about. :deal

    :hi:

  11. Not all newspaper stories/reports turn out to be true....

The bit about pac being in the restroom sounds like bull..... And it still doesnt excuse the rest of Pac's comments - Ricky went past halfway for this fight, Manny went about 1/3rd...

Yeah that's right . . . Manny being in the toilet when Arum mentioned 50/50 split is a complete bull . . . and guess what . . . it's Arum saying that it's not team Pac. :deal

With all the printed articles most of them from UK why can't Arum specify when did Pacqauio verbally agreed to that 50/50 offer?

I'll give you some links and take note where it came from.
