Bob should copy the game plan used by Holyfield to beat Tyson in November of 1996

He didn't have Evander's strength inside to do that.

Fitzsimmons vs Patterson would be a much better matchup, if you want to face Bob against this style.

Fitzsimmons weighed about SMW for most of his career.
And considering the rehydration permitted for decades now, he would be at the very most a MW today.
Could definitely make 154 if he wanted to.

Now his chest & shoulders were more like a modern LHW-he had no legs.
But can you imagine anyone in boxing history with these dimensions beating a past prime but still formidable Tyson?
If they were going to have any realistic shot it would have to be a great mover with superb reflexes like Roy Jones Jr. & his in ring weight at his prime was like early 180's.
The odds would be significantly against him, could even he avoid Tyson for a whole fight?

No man Ruby Red's size who relied on traps & punching power would not be over-matched against Tyson.
At least until the very end when he was unmotivated & washed up.

A better comparison would be both are 39: then if he did not get bludgeoned/caught early, he would have a big chance.

He actually fought at 154 (on the day too), against Dempsey.

He had great powers of recovery, so I'd definitely pick him against 39 year old Tyson.

He knocked out a 300 pound fighter. Tyson was only 218 pounds. You do the math.

I feel like you're a troll account, possibly from the general forum, who really makes these types of threads to disparage old school fighters.

Clearly you are only trolling in the sense of trying to make implausible arguments & see if folks will by them-like brainwashed logic-averse Trump supporters-& the nuances of your points are making foolish shallow arguments & you are ready to be amused by people either accepting them, or not bothering to contest them.

It is clear from your history that you are intelligent, & in no way likely to believe that just because a man KOed an obese fighter that equates to being able to beat even any World Class ones. Especially in the last 100 years, lol!

Just for fun, show us the 300 lbs. man Ruby Red beat. As in his pugilistic accomplishments.
You know far better than to equate weight regardless of physical condition, skills & success to a definitive or even significant factor.

Better to be honest about what you believe man.

You wound me! Why are you suspecting the absolute worst?? I must say that is offensive.

    Also vote Trump 2020!
