   And that level of confidence makes all the difference in the world. Floyd's "bad guy" persona at most gets him a couple angry "haters" on the internet...and a few fans as well. Johnson's persona risked lynching and murder in a society much less tolerant of that sort of behavior.
   
   Floyd acts the way he does partly because a large segment of society rewards him for it. Johnson, not so much...
