Frazier KO 4 Fitz............. Fitz was a good boxer, but to hell with the ball-lickers who think Ole Bob could handle Joe Frazier's pressure and aggression, along with his power hook working overtime for very long....

I see a kinda' "Hagler-Hearns" fight here with Bobby Fitz ending up on his back looking at the stars inside 4 rds....

Yeah, I know some old dude nearing 100 years old will come aboard and tell us how Bobby Fitz once KO'd King Kong and Godzilla on the same night in front of some tribe of warriors on Skull Island.... I ain't buying that jazz one bit...

    FRAZAHHH!!!:bbb

I think Frazier would win but some people seem to think Joe could never beat a monster puncher.
    Fitzsimmons was a monster puncher.

No pun intended, but I'm still waiting for either Janitor, Burt Beanstalk or McVey to come aboard and tell us all how Bobby Fitz would layout Joe Frazier like a Persian rug on a palace floor...

I'm sure Jerry Quarry is rolling around in his tomb wishing it was primed Bobby Fitz in the ring back in 1969 and not a raging Joe Frazier....

    WORD!!!

frazier was never anything less then a heavy weight and a good one at that.....the quality of opposition + size means that fitz is getting koed probly 4th or 5th round it might go latter then that with fitz being koed in the 9th or 10 round.

nottttttt.....by the second round fitz has the head movemnt timed and hes getting in some good counters plus with his pivoting and fainting by the 4th joes pressures going to be working against him...just stepping into traps. fitz is down in the first, fraziers down in the 3rd, 5th, and out for the count from a wild right hand in the 8th.

chances are fraizers going to win, but the thing about fitz is that he dosnt just have a punchers chance, he was a strategist...when some one just has a punchers chance thats all they have....when they have a strategy, the skills to pull it off and a punchers chance it changes the playing field a bit.

I believe Fitz hit harder as Frazier was mostly an attrition type of knock out artists. I also believe Frazier had more refined skill, and defense. But style wise, Fitz might have the edge. Who wins? I'll go with whomever lands their best stuff first. 60/40 for Frazier. Smoking Joe to me had a questionable chin vs hitters. An upset here can easily happen.

Good call........ Actually, Foster and Fitz pair-up pretty good in my view.... Who'd win that fight at 175 to 179 pounds???? Title or no title on-the-line... It doesn't matter....

Frazier would smack him around the ring for a bit, and knock him out cold by the second round.

There's just no comparison. Fitzsimmons is a top 10 P4P ATG and a legend for sure, but I cringe at people saying that old Ruby Red would stand a chance with Smokin' Joe.

Frazier would beat the **** out of Fitzsimmons so badly. I don't like to guarantee a winner in these fantasy match - ups, but I guarantee you that Joe Frazier would knock him out. Early.

Frazier wins, perhaps taking a knockdown in the process.

As for Foster-Fitz....Rob would tap that hunchback ass, no question.
