I also take Benvenuti. Good boxer, durable and his game was adjusted to the rules they are fighting under while Fitzsimmons` game was not. I always prefer fighters who fought under a ruleset over fighters who didn´t.

    Benvenuti UD15 Fitz

I'd see Nino winning a decision despite taking some huge shots. Bob could bang, but Nino was very, very good.

Fitz has a natural size advantage but I believe Nino would for the most part be in control. Fitz could end it at any given moment though.

Wait, isn't Monzon more or less the size of Fitz?

Monzon was supposedly a boiled down LHW, or he could of at least fought comfortably there.

Both were around 6 feet tall... Just add the fact that Fitz could decapitate you....

How is Nino going to win, exactly?

No, Monzon is not a boiled down lhw. And no Fitz didn´t fight anything like Monzon.

Fitzsimmons would win and anybody who says otherwise must live out the rest of their life in shame.

Well, I've heard he could have comfortably fought at LHW, that he was one of the bigger middleweights ever...

I know they fought nothing alike. Just their stature, physical size, etc.

We don´t know that because he never fougt there.

Fitz was bigger than Monzon not only in height. Doesn´t mean anything since they fought totally different.

Fitz by unanimous decision. He is just too strong for Nino to handle. It would be even in the early going. then Fitz would take over by wearing down his opponent.

Benvenuti was not quite 'cute' or resourceful to stop Fitzsimmons having his way with him. Bob would go sailing in and turn a preferred boxing match into a brawl.

Nino would do well to survive into the double figures.
