Bob Fitzsimmons weighed over 200 pounds when helping Jeffries train for the Corbett rematch

After their rematch, Fitz and Jeffries began an exhibition tour across America. For these tours, according to Jeffries; Fitz weighed 202 pounds, while Jeffries weighed 235. For a December 14 exhibition, Fitz appeared “heavier than usual, but was in splendid condition.”

 

I cannot stress too strongly, that weights for that were are all over the place, and Fitzsimmons is one of the worst for it.
