    Great stuff.

Foster was a beast.I think Foster's overall boxer-puncher skills are often underestimated. They may not have been quite up there with some of the other greats of the division, but combined with his physical advantages, power and jab it makes him a massive task for any light-heavy to overcome.

Great fighter, GREAT clip. Those final two hooks vs Rondan (ages since i've seen it but pretty sure it was him) were even slightly Tysonesque in that he ended up with his right foot forward when throwing them. Crushing puncher.

I really thought he was a great ring general Mante...he could make the ring tiny with a few efficient shuffles in the right direction.

Well...that's because his legs were eleven feet long.

Compare him though to a guy like Drews who is even taller..and you can see the difference in skill and ring awareness.

Only a joke, man. Bob is one of my favorites. But he always did look more like an NBA player than a fighter to me.

It wasn't just dimensions, it was these combined with the knowledge of how to use it extremely well. A tall fighter with average footwork can be nullified greatly. Fosters footwork was superb for such a tall man.

Foster and Hearns are brilliant to watch, big tall streaks that are often seen in pure stalking mode. Genuine boxer/punchers.
