    A great talent could occur in a low participation era, but it's unlikely., it's quite likely to be a very easy era to be no1 in. Especially a semi-pro era like this

    Every sport has evolved, Sullivan stated boxing had evolved since his time when watching the likes of Jeffries.

    Is it not natural that boxing kept on evolving post-Jeffries?

    Unorthodox is fine, leaning back like Fitz did there against a fighter who is likely faster (Foster) is liable to see you get KO'd by a left hook. Ali broke some rules himself, but not to the extent Fitz shows in that picture

    Fitz's training ideas are pretty pre-historic too, if you read up on how he'd train a fighter it's laughable and borderline homo-erotic
