As a big Hopkins fan. I wouldn't want to see this.

Why are my favourites constantly getting thrown in with Foster? Last time it was Marvin, now it's Hopkins, who's next? Gonzalez? Saad? Rosenbloom? Durrele? Moorer? Lewis? At least Ezzard wins

Prime Bob Foster, 1968-1974, vs Prime Bernard The Executioner Hopkins. Foster, tall and lean for a light heavyweight, also has reach. In his arsenal, he had a long left jab, and a very crushing left hook. He would box B-Hop throughout the match, as Hopkins throws his combos, then Foster hits home with a very hard right, staggering Bernard, who then tastes a very wicked left hook from Bob, Hopkins then goes to sleep for ten seconds in round 12. Good contest while it lasts.

Hopkins gets knocked cold by Foster in 10, then wakes up cussing out everybody he could think of.

Red Cobra, B- Hop will probably don his Executioner mask, thinking he is entering the ring, even though he has been asleep for 10 seconds.

I doubt Foster stops him! Foster would be the favorite, but Hopkins is a very live dog IMO, I wouldn’t bet on Hopkins...but then again I wouldn’t bet against him either. I will call it a 12 round draw for my card

Hopkins would fare far better than most will purvey. He'd make it awkward, that's for sure. At his 160 peak he'd be coming into the ring a lot heavier than 160. He'd be the best 175 Bob ever fought. Bob had such an awesome arsenal tho and he'd start the fave. I could see a distance fight. Hopkins is too good to be caught with that sort of punch and had great durability to boot. It's all about how Hopkins deals with Fosters jab and he was an absolute master at dealing with jabs. Fosters however was on another level.

At some time Bob would land and solidly, that would be all it would take.

About all Hopkins could hope to do is frustrate Foster and survive,,,which I don't think he'd do.
