Most people would agree Holy was a much better HW than a LHW. Foster not so much with devastating losses to both Ali and Frazier, But that was at HW!
These are 2 of my all time favorite fighter so I can say in confidence that this would be a brutal bout. Holyfield just wasn't that slick at LHW and if you think about it his style early in his career was made to order for Foster. With Bob's phenomenal jab, ability to move and the fact that his arms were like whips, pretty everything Foster threw was dangerous.

My prediction for now would be, Foster wins by either late KO or UD!

    What do you guys think?

Though Evander did nothing at LHW and was only there for a few fights, I think he was simply better than Bob, and would either win a UD or KO him. Though Foster could very well win by KO

But you agree it would have been a competitive fight!?..If Foster can keep his distance and keep Holy off him, He does have a very good chance of beating him.

I would agree, Bob could def edge a decision, but I think his best bet is to land a nasty KO punch on him à la Foster vs. tiger. :bbb

Saw Foster defend his title in person in 1969 against Andy Kendall....brutal KO...in his prime Foster was a beast...one of a handful of the best LH champs of all time...I can still see Holyfield winning this by KO...

Holyfield gave up the battle as a young man to make 175. A battle that was so hard he decided it was better to move into the ******* division of boxing.

Now I am guessing you are assuming here a Holyfield in his 190lbs pomp is fighting Foster, but at 175.

To be honest I think Foster/Holyfield is pick'em at 190, at 175 Holyfield is a walking corpse fighting arguably the biggest puncher in Light Heavyweight history...

Holyfield is brave, but even he cannot rise if he is out cold. Foster inside five.

175 or 190..I believe the outcome is the same, and I dont think ANYONE would argue Foster is one of if the the biggest puncher in LHW history.
