Don't know if the full version exists out there (I feel like it must) but here you go. In your opinion, is this the highway robbery it's made out to be or in reality a more competitive bout? How much had Foster slipped from the earlier days of his reign?

Posting these You Tube high lights is fine but you are not archiving or preserving them, you're just copying them and posting them as they are.

Reznick actually made his own videos from them with his own comments and often cleaned up bad prints of these fights..

re the Foster fight I remember the Ring thought Foster rather lucky to get a draw,Bob must have thought so to as he promptly retired after this fight.

Threads are always welcome. I just asked you 2 questions about your claims to have ,"archived and preserved fights over nearly two decades."

Which fights have you done this with?

Would you please give us ,two examples?
    One example?

I literally run a page on Archive.Org that archives boxing footage that isn't available anywhere else online you uninformed fool. I've traded footage with members of this board on and off for years... and I'm done playing stupid games with you.

Anyone wants to know why I fell out of love with sharing what I've collected, thank big man Mcvey and people like him.

All you have to do is name two examples, that you have posted on this Forum ,what you have done elsewhere is irrelevant you made a statement saying your contribution to this forum was archiving and preserving fights.I just asked for 2 examples you won't or can't provide them just the names of the fights will do.

Trading footage is something several of us do.it isn't preserving anything.

And putting clips up like below'
Bruce Woodcock vs Gus Lesnevich (youtube.com)
Isn't archiving or preserving anything either.
What happened here is you got snotty after I diffidently disagreed with your description of Pierre Coetzer as a puncher I wasn't rude to you, and I am not being rude now,you just hung yourself without any help from me.
Now you're playing the," I don't want to play anymore so I'm taking my ball and going home," tactic.
There was absolutely no need for your histrionics a simple lets agree to disagree would have settled things amicably, but you didn't want that.

Take a breather and think about how you wish to proceed, there's no need for any friction as far as I can see.

Bob Foster had slipped significantly, this showed in his title defense against Argentina's Jorge Ahumada on June 17 1874, in Madison Square Garden, remember Foster had been champion since knocking out Dick Tiger on May 24 1968 in the 4th round. I first saw Ahumada against Bobby Cassidy on Jan 28 1974 as an undercard to Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier II on the Closed Circuit telecast with my older brother. When I heard that Ahumada was going to challenge Foster. I, like many thought that Foster would have an easy title defense because of Ahumada's aggressiveness would walk right into Foster/s left hook. Man, was I wrong watching the June 17 1974 replay on ABC's Wide World Of Sports. Ahumada appeared not to fear Foster, Foster began to show fatigue and frustration. When the decision was announced, Foster looked as though he had lost his title while awaiting the judges decision. I was even more shocked when Foster announced his retirement a short time later following the 15 round draw against Ahumada. Foster claimed it was a mental thing to defend against the WBA's no. 1 contender Victor Galindez of Argentina or the WBC's no.1 contender John Conteh of England or else risking getting stripped by one of boxing bodies for defending against their no.1 mandatory contender. Galindez stopped Len Hutchins in the 13th round in Dec 1974 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to claim the WBA Title, Conteh easily defeated Ahumada on Oct 1 1974 by unanimous 15 round decision to claim the WBC Title in London.

I have just watched the fight. The first four rounds are missing, but we are told that the fight was even at that point. The next 11 rounds, I have Ahumada winning 9-1-1 !!! That decision is a joke. Poor Foster was so totally shot, Ahumada was left hooking him at will.

I'm sure from what I've seen of it Ahumada dominated.
