  1. good and short fight:think spinks would have a chance to win by decision but i pick foster by knock out in 5 rounds.

I see Foster landing his left hook and stopping Spinks, which was hard to do at 175.

I think Spinks outboxes him to a decision.

Spinks IMO beats him by a close decision. I just think Spink's awkwardness gives him a slight edge here.

Michael was smart, tough, cagey, mobile, had one punch knockout power in either hand, and proved to have sufficient power to knock out world class heavyweights. He would always have the advantage of youth over Bob, who was already 30 when he knocked out Tiger. Michael would make Bobby pay for having that right foot in the bucket.

Bob never defeated a heavyweight the caliber of Tangstad, and I'm not convinced he survives against even the stale and coked up version of Cooney Michael took out.

At 175, Bob's power was not irresistible, as super middleweight Fourie twice demonstrated. He wasn't an elusive target. Michael had too many tools for Bob to cope with. He'd probably start by moving laterally like Mike Quarry, until he got warmed up, then I don't want to hazard a guess as to how he proceeds from there. He might opt to play for the decision, but he was perfectly capable of unloading a match deciding bomb at any time.

Qawi, Marvin Johnson and Mustafa Muhammad failed to trouble him with their power, and I don't see Bob getting much further with his delivery system.

This is honestly one of the hardest fights in history to pick IMO. But I'd tend to lean towards Spinks. Just more versatile than Foster, and while the "jinx" wasnt quite as powerful as Foster's left hook, it was still a devestating punch. Spinks was a slow starter however, and he couldnt afford to start slow against Foster. Still I think Mike would survive some scary moments, and outbox Foster to a decision.

Mike would take a decison over Bob, somewhere in the 9-6, or 10-5 range. He would survive some scary moments early, as Bob would take those rounds, but from about the seventh round on, it's Mike's fight.

Tough fight to pick. Foster's jab could prove to be troublesome for Michael, but Michael's awkward combination punching would prove to be troublesome for Bob. Obviously they both possessed 1 punch KO power at lightheavy, but I think Spinks had the better chin which would allow him to take more chances than Foster, and take him to a close decision victory.

I'm thinking the same thing here. At LHW Spinks showed that he could handle power and his awkward style would present problems to Foster. Spinks himself 1 punch power at 175 so Foster would also be in the danger zone.

I could very well be wrong and Foster could pull this out but if I were a bookie I'd make Spinks the betting favorite.

Spinks makes one trip to the canvas on his way to a UD over Foster.
