I've seen many threads proposing a hypothetical match-up between these two at LHW, how about a fight consisting of both men matched-up in their HW title challenge form?

    Weights
    Foster - 188 lbs
Jones - 193 lbs (199 on fight day)

    Who wins?

RJJ's performance against Ruiz was good. But fighting the deadly quiet man and Bob Foster are not the same. Much closer match at Light Heavy, IMO.

Can't see Roy getting through or around that long reach + crippling KO power.

Either Foster by early KO, or Roy stays away all night and loses a lopsided decision.

Roy lacked the ruggedness of Terrell, Jones, Folley and of course Ali or Frazier...and would have been cracked by Foster sooner of later.

John Ruiz is reading this thread right now and quietly weeping to himself.

Ruiz is an effective fighter really, but quickness makes his style look like ****. Both Toney and Jones had the quickness to punch inside that herky jerky stuff, but decent heavyweights like Rahman and Johnson couldnt. It will be interesting to see how Haye who has good speed, handles Ruiz.
Ruiz is getting up there in age, but Haye is inexperienced against top level heavies, and as bad as Ruiz looks hes had enough championship experience to be considered a top level heavy for Haye. No walk in the park like most think.

I don't think he's been a walk in the park for anyone but Tua but he's still reading this thread and crying and you can't prove otherwise.
