Foster's feints and subtle pressure created that amazing knockout.

And I believe, Jerry was in the dressing room, getting ready for Ali...

I was a good friend of Michael Wayne Quarry I wished he'd retired soon after this fite, but he went on and on and on, too bad he could not become a high profile trainer.

1969 Jimmy Ellis vs Bob Foster WOULD HAVE BEEN A REAL NATURAL.

Still wonder if the 1973 Bob Foster could do that to Victor Galindez or John Conteh.

The closest any of them came to meeting was in 1977 when Galindez and Foster were signed to meet in South Africa with Galindez defending his WBA title. For whatever reason is viable (the promoters claimed Foster refused a pre-fight physical and Foster claimed his training wasn't going well) Foster ran out on the title fight and a $70,000 payday. The likelihood of him beating Galindez at that stage of the game would have been remote, but still, this was for the title and a very decent payday. But who knows what goes on in someone's mind?

Good Point. And Foster always had that confrontational thing about him.
