Bob Papa relinquishes commentating role on HBO BAD

    Hate Lampley, house-riding fighter commentator, who couldn't analyze a fight to make his heart beat.

    Good move. I feel like Papa's present somewhat cheapened HBO shows and gave them more of a budget, ESPN2 type feel.

    Lampley is still probably the best boxing play by play guy out there but his whole ah' herm {clears throat} DEAL :yep Has worn thin over the years.

    The network should not use their top guy for smaller shows/telecasts. There are some qualifed broadcasters out there (at least I would hope) that would love the opportunity.
