Similar styles neither man was considered a big banger but both were excellent boxers... LaStarza lost a razor-close decision to Marciano in their first fight... The second one, well, we know what happened there! Pastor was shockingly stopped by the great Billy Conn who was a lightheavyweight moving up and not a knockout artist by any means... Pastor battled twice with Joe Louis and was very respected in his time.
Bump This is a toss up but I'd take LaStarza via UD. His punches are a bit straighter and his movement is more polished, though Pastor is a bit faster
Pastor has a much deeper resume, and is much more proven against top ten opposition. I would make Pastor the clear favorite.
