10 rounds (or less) at heavyweight. Sanders puts away the golf clubs long enough to fight Satterfield on ESB.
I think Corrie would win this. Both men were fast starters and would come out swinging looking to end it early, but I think that in a shootout Corrie`s faster hands would find there mark first and take Bob out real quick. Factor in Corrie`s ability to take a good punch in contrast to Bob`s inability to take one, and the likely outcome says Sanders by KO within 2-3 rounds.
Corrie's actually SHOWN a great chin when he's got his **** together. He was cruising and fight idiotic againt Tubbs. He got himself against the ropes and got starched EXACTLY like Lennox Lewis did against Rahman. Unbelievable shot. Anyway, the guy throwing the punches there was a 260 plus pound man who had fast hands and very solid power. No shame in going down from a punch like Sanders got caught by. If that's the case, fault Lennox equally. Same exact thing. As for this fight, I'd favor Corrie. Far bigger, better chin, probably has faster hands, etc.
And before anyone brings up Sanders last fight with a onslaught of other Sanders related ****. He was stopped on a bodyshot in his last fight. 42 years old, and for those that've actually seen the fight it's an obvious quit job by Sander's. He gives it his best for a round, realizes his guy isn't going anywhere, opts out of the fight and collects his check.
I'd pick Sanders. Satterfield was a brutal puncher but he would be to crude to amount a decent offense against Sanders. This is actually a very exciting matchup.
LOL are you kidding? Super Southpaw freak of nature ATG corrie sanders would easily dominate satterfield. sanders by KO in 20 seconds! How could you ever pick against a super southpaw like corrie sanders in fantasy fights on ESB? get real!!! Sanders KO 1
I honestly wouldnt like to put money down on this fight. If we can bet in jelly beans I might chance a small wager on Satterfield.
Although, I have great respect for the long and impossible career that Bob Satterfield had, II'm not sure that I can favor him to triumph over a well trained Corrie Sanders ( a rare commodity. ) Sanders' resume may lack more fights against rated opponents, but his collosal win over Wlad, was a great testiment to what he was capable of. He also showed that he could take some pretty hard shots from Vitali Klitschko, despite being past his best. On a given night, Corrie would have had a great size advantage over Satterfield, to complement his fast hands, power and starting ability. This may very well spell out bad news for Satterfield. A man of Bob's experience and toughness, as proven in a career of nearly 80 fights, needs to be paid a fair amount of respect. Therefore, he'd always have a chance. But, if we're going on the basis probability and not possibility, then Sanders needs to be the favorite.
Of course! Corrie super southpaw freak of nature sanders was ultra durable! he was mega iron chinned!!!
Its a shootout, However the Big fast punching southpaw Sanders was a danger to anyone and could score a KO over anyone, he did not often get the chance because he was avoided (give Rahman credit but he was hurt several times and put down 2 times vs the ill prepared Sanders(Corrie could not run because of a leg injury) but Corrie was a lso freakishly Ko'd by Nate tUBBS but Corrie took a good shot for the most part just not dedicated to condition. Satterfeild was erratic but he scored some quality KO's in his Career over much bigger men....A shootout but because of his speed and power I lean towards Sanders...but he must be carefull
Why are we rating Sanders as having an iron chin, can someone give me a reason, I like Sanders he was very underated but having a good chin, can some one prove it. watch this please http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ6_BPrWdN4
