Bob Satterfield vs Earnie Shavers

    Why not? Bob has no choice here but to go for broke fast and if he catches Earnie on the jaw like Quarry did he may have come out the winner. I see Shavers stunned a few times early before his firing back leaves Satterfield out cold by the 3rd round.

    Jimmy Ellis also nearly pulled off a quick ambush against Earnie, Bob is not without chances, But think that without a superior delivery technique being brought to bare Earnie should be favoured....in a dont blink Affair..

    I would go with Shavers because in a battle of powerful punchers with weak chins, his chin seems the stronger of the two.

    But I keep my money in my pocket on this one.

    Satterfield was probably much the faster guy, and while he often threw tactics to the wind to engage in slugfests, he actually could box when he wanted to, witness his decision over Harold Johnson.
