These two heavyweight contenders have the distinction of being among the handfull of heavyweights who fought 30+ oponents who were curently ranked in the top 10 by ring magazine.

    Both are tremendous punchers.

Lets put them in together in their respective primes.

    Why the hell not?

I havent seen anything of Thompson...just having a gander at his record it looks like he was pretty durable aswell. Not to mention it looks like he would hit just about as hard as Bob, Turkey has some big KO wins.

I think he can make this fight another one.

Great match up. I'm a Satterfield fan. The dude was a pure gun slinger.

Thompson could bang, and was pretty durable. I read some of Thompson's news clips. His stamina was shaky and he didn't have a rock of a chin because he went down more a few times than Box Rec reports.

Who wins? I think the fans.

Thompson had the better chin, only stopped twice to Satterfield's 13 times. Satterfield probably had more power,I find it hard to pick a winner, when in doubt go for the better chin .Turkey by ko late.
