Bobby wins because Carlos was never proven at featherweight....Ruben Olivares could box, which is something Im not too sure Carlos could do...

Also while Chacon was no Wilfredo Gomez power-wise, he could whack and he knocked out the similarly murderous hitting Danny Lopez....

Yes...I don't feel we saw the true Zarate against Gomez. Not making excuses because Gomez is great but with Zarate with I believe the flue and Gomez fighting dirty and getting away with it just wasn't a good day for Zarate. I always wondered how a rematch would have played out.

Me too. Im Puerto Rican but when I originated the Gomez-Zarate article on Wikipedia, i made it a point to explain about Zarate's supposed illness and Gomez's unfair tactics, just because fair is fair, and, in the case of Gomez's fouls, it was pretty obvious.

I still want to think Gomez wins because there were holes in Zarate's style that Gomez could explore, but who knows.

With Zarate's raw power and the painful results that are also pretty obvious on You Tube, you just can never count him out.

Still, as far as Chacon-Zarate at Featherweight, I cant help but imagine it would end like Chacon-Lopez did.
