The fight between Chacon and Little Red was a thrilling bout where Chacon ended up victorious by 9th round stoppage. The following year Chacon would get stopped by Ruben Olivares who would then be stopped by Lopez later on. I always wondered why they never entertained the idea of another fight between Chacon and Lopez considering how exciting they both are. Do you think Lopez might have a good chance in beating Chacon had they fought again, perhaps in 1975? A trilogy could have been possible between the two if Lopez managed to avenge his loss.

Chacon wins again he beat Lopez pretty comprehensively I don't really see that Lopez could really do any better in a rematch he was pretty 1 dimensional even though I like Lopez alot he was a warrior.

    Chacon by late TKO again.

Little Red just got hit way too easy. Did he even move his head at all? How can anyone not like this man. Warrior...Gentleman...just get hits too easily. Chacon stops him again.

It's difficult to see how and when this bout could have been shoe-horned in. After the Olivares rematch everyone could see Chacon was done at featherweight. He mentioned after Olivares' hangover loss to Kotey that he wanted his title back, so he may still have had designs on 126 it's just that his body said otherwise. Bobby never fought at feather again - always weighing in at jr. lightweight or lightweight. Danny, on the other hand, was a career featherweight so I don't know how they would have done it. But then again, money talks.
