    Who wins?

I'm expecting for most to favor Chacon, but I'd take Chico by late stoppage in a brutal one.

Good match up Xplosive I can see this going both ways but I'd go with the majority and pick Chacon.

Great Match up X.... Wow! A barn burner, two warriors who gave nothing, there opponents had to take it from them..... Both lost badly to ATG's Chacon to Arguello and Olivares, Corrales to Mayweather Jr. I lean ever so slightly to Corrales, he was taller, better reach, I believe he
Hit harder . But I wouldn't count Chacon out, he fought much better competition overall, and knew every trick in the book.

This would be Gory! I'm picking Corrales as well. It's close though, really close. Great match up 'Plosive!

I think Corrales's size and straighter punching is the difference, he'd have an easier time getting away if he's hurt and be able to land first in exchanges

It would be a great fight. It would also be a junior lightweight versus a welterweight because Corrales never fought at 130 in his life.

You couldn't be more wrong lol. Corrales was champ at 130 and never fought at welterweight.

By the time he got into the ring he was a welterweight. With same day weigh ins, like when Chacon fought, Diego Corrales wouldn't have fought below 140, and most likely would have been at 147.
If we make this fantasy fight in 1980, with same day weigh ins, Chacon stops Corrales in 2 or 3 rounds because Diego would be too weak to hold his hands up.

    No, he's actually spot on.
Corrales was huge for a weight he never made on fight night.

Chacon by 4 or 5th round knockout. I agree the weigh in issue helps Corrales and he is bigger. So that is a factor. Both legit 130? Chacon. easily enough.

LOL. Chacon is not stopping Corrales in 4-5 rounds.

So Chacon is going to do what Mayweather Jr, at his absolute best weight and his absolute best couldn't do? Or a puncher like Castillo who got an early stoppage when Corrales was at the end of career but landed punch after punch on Corrales on him and didnt stop him in the previous fight.....Ok, Didn't know Chacon punched with the ferocity of Lopez, Arguello or Gomez...... I didn't know that , thank you for sharing that....... But in reality prime vs prime Chacon doesn't stop Corrales in 4rds. You severely underestimate Corrales if you believe that.
