Two guys who weren't at the peak of their powers at 126. Gomez seemed a shade too small for the weight, and found bigger guys who couldn't quite match him for ability could overwhelm him nonetheless.

Chacon ****ed around outside the ring during what should've been his physical prime. Hence why he capitulated inside a few rounds in the 2nd bout against Olivares.

The Gomez that tried desperately to get back into the fight with Sanchez against the Chacon that punched it out with 'Little Red' would be a quality fight. If Gomez took his peak form up to 126 he'd likely run rings around Chacon. I think 'Schoolboy' would get 'Bazooka' into enough exchanges to see his superior power (at these weights for sure) and physicality to grind Gomez down to a 10th round stoppage (or around that stage) ad Gomez just wasn't using his full range of movement around this time.

I have no problems with anyone thinking Gomez would be sharp enough to shred Chacon up and dissect him and force his corner to pull him out. I just like Chacon's best showings here over Gomez's.
