Was reading in boxing news about this fighter. Another guy who been in with a whole host of names. Dokes, weaver, biggs tucker, snipes, tillis, moorer, foreman and many other s. These guys like big foot and jesse ferguson are the stuff of legend s fighting the top names at short notice and probably not a great deal of money. Is there any guys out there fighting now like this. Bobby apparently had 30 stoppage losses in his 35 losing fight s!! But sounds like he still got marbles intact?!

Yes. There are a lot of fighters out there like Denis Bakhtov, Konstantin Airich, Ivica Perkovic, Andras Csomor, Marcelo Nascimento, Julius Long, Jason Gavern, Maurice Harris ....

Between them, they've lost to every name. But they'll also knock off other journeymen or the occasional prospect who is a total pretender.

He and Dave Jaco (and possibly, Ken Lakutsa) were the go to white guys when you needed to pad the record of a Heavyweight prospect. He wasn't as bad at Cruiserweight, but still only a trial horse in that division. At heavy, he was basically a tomato can.

Maurice Harris could actually fight, though. He just got thrown in when very young.

I'm not talking about the beginning of his career ... I'm talking about the end of it. He was basically only good for a couple years in the middle there.

He had about 51 knockouts in 56 wins. Even if those wins came against mostly trial horses he still had to hit pretty damn hard

Yes crabtree was another one of these guys who landed on everyone's resume at some point or another. Al Bernstein once referred to him as " everyone's favorite opponent. " bobby spent much of his career going back and forth between cruiser and heavyweight and was never shy about taking a pay day when it was on the table.

According to the interview in boxing news he's now a owner of a body shop in arkansas fixing cars. It's a interesting little read. Says that foreman told him he hurt him in there bout but it just made foreman mad! Lol. Good story's and info coming from u guys on here.
