Gunn is trying to get a spot on the VK/Adamek undercard. Actually, this is a mistake for Gunn. If Golota accepts and gets in shape, then Gunn is toast. I just wish Golota still had his snapping jab which was never seen again after G-mans car accident. Link you say? I fear banning if I post an article from another boxing site. Google Andrew Golota and narrow the search to this past week and you'll find it.
Gunn is much smaller and isnt any powerful. However he has quite good movement and could trouble Andrew with it. I dont say that Gunn would win, it depends how much Golota has left.
Bobby Gunn Is Ready To Box Andrew Golota August 4th, 2011 By Scoop Malinowski There has been discussion about an Andrew Golota boxing comeback/farewell fight and one name that has been mentioned as a possible opponent is the popular cruiserweight/ heavyweight Bobby "The Celtic Warrior" Gunn. Gunn (21-4-1, 18 KO's) is well-known in boxing circles for his courageous old-school style and 2009 IBF world cruiserweight title challenge vs. Tomasz Adamek (TKO 4 loss). Gunn, on his way to Arizona for another fistic event, took time out to speak with Box*****sider.com about the possibility of him fighting the Polish legend Golota. "I would love to fight Andrew Golota. I wish they could make that fight on the Tomasz Adamek (vs. Vitali Klitschko) undercard in Poland, give the Polish fans a fight that they need," said the former IBA Cruiserweight champ Gunn, who turned pro in 1989 and is 37 years old. "As you know, styles makes fights, I believe that I will knock out Andrew in six rounds. As you know I put up a better performance against Tomasz Adamek than he did. I think it will be good for boxing plus I'm at 210 pounds right now, I look and feel great." Gunn in action vs. Adamek in Newark, NJ in 2009. Gunn also stated that he believes Adamek will upset Vitali Klitschko and will capture the WBC Heavyweight title. "I do believe that Tomasz Adamek will outwork Vitali and win a majority decision, that's what I believe, it'll be a close fight."
LMAO about Golota. If Golota is in great shape, he wins fairly easily. Interesting Vitali-Adamek prediction.
