Lesnars workouts in the WWE that he took to the NFL were awesome for that of a big man. But my comparison was about them physically in terms of their genetics and musculature.
The workouts weren't in the WWE, they were in front of the Minnesota Vikings scouts. Had he actually had some skill he would have been easily in the NFL, but he didn't play football in college. Musculature in terms of a bodybuilder, sure, Lashley looks much more like a bodybuilder; in terms of strength, power, and quickness though, it is all Brock. Not quite sure what you mean by genetics, but all I know is if I was to build a fighter starting with either Lashley or Lesnar's DNA, I'll take Lesnar's.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1830855 Lists his #'s as: Bench - 475 Squat - 695 40 yard dash - 4.7 Standing broad jump - 10 feet Vertical jump - 35 inches.
4.7 for a man his size is amazing. I heard somewhere these numbers where on the level of Mario Williams the Texans first overall pick in 06. I bet if Lesnar had went to NFL Europe like they wanted him to he would have developed some technique and experience and possibly been a productive NFL player.
Lesnar was the last guy cut on a team that was and still is probably the deepest in the league in terms of defensive linemen. His combine scores were better than Mario Williams'. The Vikings wanted him on the practice squad but Lesnar declined. Lesnar was tempermental even by NFL standards, getting into altercations with teammates. He is twice the athlete/physical specimen that Lashey guy could ever hope to be. Fedor still rapes him....
