I'm sure Lashley won't be calling out Lesnar anytime soon and MMA fights just arn't suited for a ring. I think Guida was there not to lose rather then win but it's hard fighting a strong guy like Lashley who was pinning, clinching and holding most of the fight.
Not sure, He sure didn't make the splash Lesnar did so quickly but Lesnar is a different animal, Lashley is still green and has alot to learn on the job. I'm not sure how old he is but he will have alot of improing to do quickly if he expects to get to the top of the food chain. Guida is a journey at best and Lashley couldn't dominate him so like he said..."back to the drawing board"
It was a difficult question, you're right, it's really hard to say. Thanks for your input, much appreciated ! I read he's with American Top Team, that in it's self is positive, the sort of coaching and fighters he'll be around will only make him better ... If Ken would of been in there last night, what do you think the outcome would of been ? Purely out of interest ? ..
I would think he would have had an easier time taking Ken down and likely would have pounded him out. Guida did show good takedown defense and was strong in the clinch as well. Even when Lashley had him down he didn't do too much damage.Guida does have alot of experience so he was no tomato can but he showed little offense. Lashley wanted the Shamrock fight so he could get more exposure beating up poor ole Ken.
I believe his first fight he was 252, so I assume he was in that area, but very ripped almost like his WWE days. Brock although still a huge man around 280ish is not ripped at all compared to his wrestling days.
I think his strength's ridiculous, he's so powerful .... Like you mentioned, Guida has ALOT of experience over Bobby, so all in all, i think it was a pretty good performance, and win considering ..
Jason is no Frank Mir but Bobby looked good in his second MMA fight, a better showing than Brocks first go at the big time. Bobby 32 so I'm not sure what his age will let him do now.
I thought he did quite well. He proved he could go 15 minutes, he can strike very well (better than Lesnar), he's in great shape, he can wrestle, he threw some knees, and even got out of the guillotine! He looks quite promising.
Looked ****-poor. Jason Guida looks smaller than his brother and Lashley struggled to take him down. Get off the juice and fight at 155 or something
Lesnar was also training for a couple of years before he went to UFC. i think Lashey has only been at it for about a little less than a year. Lashley looks to have promise in him though if he doesn't take a to big of a name so soon, and works his way up the ladder. do you think Dana will try to avoid two former WWE entertainers fighting for a championship in the UFC? or will he play off of that hype?
