Fair enough, lashley certainly does like his juice... I'm sure Lesnar is a fan of the roids too but i get your point. Lesnar is a true ****ing beast who burst right onto the scene with great success, Lashley is showing he's getting better in every fight and has already had the same number of fights in less than a year. If he can improve, which may be difficult given his age, I dont think Lesnar would destroy the guy at all. opinions are like hemmeroids, every arseholes got them we'll see somewhere down the line I'm sure Lashley will be taking on some established names soon and he'll get found out if hes not the real deal
... You guys are idiots. Lashley/Lesnar would be a massive draw down the line, it's bound to happen if Lashley continues his progress and Lesnar doesn't get derailed. I think it would be a pretty fair match-up, Lashley has looked very impressive thus far.
Rubbish. He took full on shots from prime monsters like Batista and Umaga. He's got a great chin BTW good article mate, well done :good
Thats utter nonsense. Lashley and Lesnar are phenomenal talents considering the size. Lashley is just as athletic as Lesnar if not more so. There is no real tangible diffrence in relation to their talents in MMA as their both rookies who have allowed there physical dimensions to take them this far. Put Lesnar in the ring with a guy like Werdum and i assure you he WILL be subbed. Put him in the ring with a striker like Gilbery Yvel and he WILL get knocked out. Both have much to learn in this game but neither man is the polished article.
Thats rubbish. Lashley came down from over 273lbs in his last fight to hit the scales at 250lbs. Have a look at his pictures on Sherdog and then compare his conditioning with the blubbery look that Lesnar looks like now. Lashley is an AWESOME physical specimen. He has an incredible amount of dense musculature and whats even more amazing is the depth of his muscular conditioning -bearing in mind his now in a sport that requires a ton of CV- as well as the deep striations in his muscles. Lashley despite postively being off hormones is blessed with an extraordinary genetic talent. Much like Lesnar both responded exceptionally well to hormones. But Lashley responded alot better in that he is able to retain his musculature and overall conditioning despite dropping down like Lesnar from weights close to 300lbs inbetween fights. The fact is there is absolutely nothing blown up about Lashley. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Bobby-Lashley-39806
Wether either man wins or loose down the line (which is very probable) this is still a huge match to be made. What would be even better is if Vince McMahon promoted it
First off you said Crock Lesnar "has fought and beat the best" That's pretty funny. Secondly you said Lesnar is the equivelant to a purple belt in BJJ. Also very funny. Keep them coming
Both Lesnar and Lashley have had 4 fights apiece. Lesnar has fought the better quality opposition no question but his sheer size and athlecism is bound to add new dimensions to his opponents ability to beat him. Likewise the same is said for Lashley. Massive men of their sizes are rarely athletic. Its too early to say without dispute that Lesnar is the polished articled as the facts remain he's likely never to be. His too late in this sport and its only his size and athleticism that are allowing him to win.
I said Brock is apparently equivalent to a purple belt in BJJ. I read an article where a BJJ guy worked with Brock and mentioned he was at a purple belt level. And yeah he beat the best Heath Herring and Randy are among the best. Definitely has had better competition than Lashely and beat them more convincing than Lashley beat his opponents. You can throw the fact that Lesnar hasn't fought Fedor or whatever angle you want to take this, but he has only fought top competition. If you can't finish Jason Guida you shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Brock Lesnar, I seriously can't believe that this thread is still going.
I agree with you that both have too learn. But where does Yvel and Werdum come into too play? Lashley has not fought anyone near that caliber. Like I said if you can't finish Jason Guida you shouldn't be mention in the same sentence as Brock Lesnar. I seriously think Lesnar is on a different level than Lashley and I can't understand why everyone thinks there is a potential match up here. Lashley will draw crowds and its cool too see him fight known fighters, but I can garuntee as soon as he loses here everyone on this forum will say he sucks.
Lesnar would outstrike lashley but not because Lesnar is good on his feet. Its just that Lashley is terrible. Lesnar is a far better and more accomplished wrestler. Lashley has decent wrestling credentials but not great. Lesnar is definitely trying to progress nicely but im not sure if trying to fight guys like Shamrock and Sapp is the way to go. Sapp is terrible and not a real fighter. Just some freakshow football player with alot of size. I dont see Lashley progressing very far in MMA but I do see the UFC picking him up in another fight or two. But he'd lose to a mid-level guy in the UFC.
Lesnar is just naturally the bigger guy. Even though both were or still on roids, Lashley looked like hes lived off roids, Lesnar doesnt. Lashley fought at like 170lb as a wrestler. At least Lesnar fought as a HW in college.
