This bout was 'signed and sealed', but not delivered.

Boxing Promoter - Aileen Eaton - of The Olympic Auditorium had this bout pretty much all
wrapped up for December 1974, but the 'Schoolboy' pulled out.

    The Champion, 23 years-old, at 25-1-0 (23 KO's), stood at 5' 5 1/2".

The 'resilient' Champion, would have a size disadvantage, giving up 2" in height and 3' in reach.
But his 'grittiness' and suprising power could neutralize his disadvantages. Bobby would have
a slight edge in hand-speed, but the Challenger had quicker footwork.

In physical stature, 'DK Poison' was a marvel, with a muscular body and enormous strength.
David is a well-schooled technician, and possesses a hard left jab, a good left hook and
    a powerful right-hand.

    The 25 year-old 5' 7 1/2" Ghanan - David 'Poison' Kotey 28-2-1 (17 KO's) was ready to go, as
    the #2 WBC Featherweight.
