After watching the fight again I'm sorry to see the judges giving Canelo the win due to body shots.
In pro fights body shots don't score the same as head shots.
Body shots are an investment you do to slow your opponent down, drop their hands so you can land effective head shots.

This scoring sets a terrible precedence in the sport where an opponent who land 200 body shots will outpoint his opponent that lands 160 solid head shots.

This was a "sneak-up-from-behind, club him in the back of the head and snatch his wallet type robbery. :deal

Total garbage as usual by you.

A body shot is equal to that of a head shot, both are scoring shots you imbecile.

Only time a body shot should make a difference in scoring is when it leads to a knockdown (10-8) or like Hopkins-ODLH, a KO.

    Look.

Body shots are used when you are facing a mover like Lara to help slow him down or to eventually start dropping his arms so he'll be open for head shots.
Canelo was able to land some body shots but was never really able to connect to Lara's face but a few times in the fight.

Canelo fought Lara's fight all night long and Lara made him look like a flat footed polodder who was singing and missing more punches than he connected. meanwhile, Lara was connecting with multiple combinations to Canelo's face and head. That's the sweet science baby.

the terrible precedent would have been awarding the fight to a boring track star that ran like a little girl at recess because canelo had cooties!!

    This guy

I've decided I'm no longer going to score head shots, or left hooks actually...on second thoughts I'm only ever going to score right hooks.
