    Hello there
The question I have today is body sparring.
I sometimes do body sparring it is really tiring I try to move alot I see alot of other guys in my gym stand still and take the punches IMO why just move and hit.

I sometimes do body and I struggle with the guys who are bigger than me I am 5 11 190 lb or so.
I am not the best puncher but I try to
what are your tips the bigger guys always try to wrestle me when I do get engaged I am so tired it takes so much energy out.
What should I aim to hit when body sparring.

My tip is get down to your natural weight, get as strong as you can and move your feet a lot. Create angles. Bigger guys will probably struggle with that if they're fast footed.

Agreed. Get your weight down so you'll be lean. Also, you must MUST condition your body to perform at a high work rate in sparring and matches. You must be able to perform every second of every minute of three, three minutes rounds. In the amateurs, you'll win 80% of your fights if you are highly conditioned. If you want to box. Train. If you want to WIN. Train HARD.

Why is it that boxers always give the "lose weight" and "get lean!" lines. Losing weight won't help unless the guy's overweight.

It is true that you need to train harder. You may need to eat more and possibly increase volume of work and intensity. It depends what you're already doing.

I am not over weight I have wide shoulders but not alot of fat.
I will get my bodyfat tested soon when I find out I will tell you the results.

I always try to stay active I need to work on my conditioning because I get tired easy when I do this.
