I used to do trima donations, takes over an hour and they take only platelets and plasma and return the red blood cells (which are cold because they've been cycling around in the machine, so it makes your whole arm go cold), you have to monitor the pressure, because you can get some pretty major bruising from the increased pressure during the cell returns.
So who listens to music at the gym? Luckily for me I work out in my shed at home so I can play music on a boom box, which I also prefer to headphones as sometimes with headphones I feel like I'm blind to my surroundings (******ed I know)
Definitely. Can't train without it. Headphones are banned at the gym I train at, both for safety reasons and a social/cultural/coaching reasons. But they're pretty good with the music side of things. I also train at home a lot, so I can listen to whatever I want, as loud as I want.
So since being at judo 3 times a week for just over 6 months, my abs have definately gotten bigger, there not actually visable currently but I can feel they've gotten bigger. Also my shoulders have gotten slightly bigger, my calves are being used constantly and feel sore but I dont think those m'****ers will ever grow bigger lol. My dad as always trained, but never really done pullups so for the last 2/3 months or so I've gotten him to join in when I do mine (gyms in the shed) he started off maxing at about 6 but slowly hes been increasing, and today at the age of 59 he did 10, 9, 9 I think thats awsome.
My gym puts chart show TV on. Had a live acoustic set with just in bieber the other day. No thanks Jeff. Sometimes they have it up so loud, I'm listening to some sickening house music, waiting for the drop then out of no where "WE!!!!!!!!! ARE NEVER EVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER".
I ****ing love that song to sing along to no homo but there's a time and place man. Sup jdsm? How's training?
That Taylor Swift song is a big tune. I have to play some filthy grime after though to make myself remember that I'm a man. bumpy thats impressive for a man his age I know plenty of 20 year olds who couldn't get anywhere near that. My new training regime is going well, moved so I'm alot closer to the gym and have a more rigid structure now. Going to start adding strength training to my routine this week. Hoping to have my 4th fight end of the month.
Taylor Swift for motivation crew. Honestly though I remember Katy Perry's firework song came on, got an extra few reps on dumbbell rows lol. BABY YOURE A FIREWORK, COME ON SHOW WHAT YOURE WORTH, LIFT THOSE WEIGHTS UP UP UP! YES KATY BABY, I WILL LIFT THESE WEIGHTS ANYTHING FOR YOU BABY <3 liek if u cry evrytim.
Seriously though my trainings OK. I've put on 4kg in 9 months of clean bulking, lost a bit of fat. I'm not sure if that's good progress or not. I'm happy with it though. Still gonna start cutting in April with the end goal of as near to 10% by September when I plan on going to Vegas. Current body fat is unknown, I need some callipers to work it out. I've got barely any fat on my arms, legs and upper torso. Just a big roll round the stomach and I've got fat black girl flutes. I'm guessing around 17-18% though.
I'm glad I dont have to listen to taylor swift, I listen to some heavy metal or some house or something.
