Boente says never to Wlad/Fury rematch if Wlad beats Joshua

Boente is an embarrassment to boxing.

 

To be fair to Fury's team on the night that ring was shocking- I doubt many would want to see a rematch anyway.

 

Aye because Team Fury didn't let the Wlad camp run over the top of them as they had done to many other challengers over the years when Wlad was the champ. Case in point the ring on fight night. Fury camp strong enough to stand up to their BS and Boente and crew didn't like it.

 

After the farce of the aborted second fight who can blame them?

 

Is that really what you think the issue was? Sure, I'm sure they didn't like them being firm on the ring, gloves etc. but you're looking at the small issues here.

The Fury's repeatedly messed Wlad around with the rematch - location, timing, training press conferences, drug hearings, suspensions etc. they lied, obscured the truth and misrepresented themselves time after time and this was whilst they had a rematch clause in place with them! Imagine what trying to negotiate with these jokers would be like now.

Now, I couldn't give a **** about Wlad, his overhyped reign over a weak era or his braindead superfans but I totally understand why he and his team don't ever want to deal with the Fury family ever again. They're very obviously a nightmare.

How many times have Boente and Klitschko postponed fights? They messed Chisora about, postponed the original Fury fight and messed him about with that soft canvas. Boente is a cancer in boxing.

Wlad postposted it with an injury and was ready a month later.

Fury postponed and completely pulled out of the fight due to drug abuse. There is a big difference.

Try to be objective, they behaved worse than David Haye with his 2 pullouts of the fury fight.

Fury said he would never give Haye a title shot after the way his camp behaved, were you foaming at the mouth then?

 

Of course they wouldn't want a rematch as Fury would beat him again.

 

Nah that's fair. Fury lost two full camp's worth of money so I understand why he doesn't entertain Haye. IIRC he said he'd only fight him if Haye stumped up a deposit.

 

Of course it is fair, so exactly why are you criticising Beonte for taking a similar stance with Fury, after Wladmir wasted two training camps and his shot at reclaiming the belts?

 

Nobody wants to see them fight again anyway, it was a stinker and would be even worse the second time.

 

Look through the thread. At no point did I criticise Boente for taking that stance with Fury, I pointed out that he and team Klitschko have messed around fighters as wel many times in the past. Read my posts first.
