Haven't seen enough of him to be sure either way. Only time will tell after he steps up in competition.
Basically. He looks like he has some skills and talent, but his chin seems to be completely untested, he's not keeping particularly active, and I question his dedication to the sport a bit. He has a family and a pretty decent day job, so I'm not sure that he's all that focused on boxing. I remember reading that he's received offers to go full-time as a boxer, but has refused them. I have no idea whether that's because the financial terms weren't good enough, or if he just prefers to moonlight as a boxer and see where things go.
I remember when he was undefeated when he was linked with Milas but that fight didn't happen due to various reasons, ever since that strange loss against Miller his downfall started...
Dinu was a big disappointment. I still think he had the skills to go much further than he actually did. But he checked out mentally long before he first tasted defeat. In the Pulev fight he briefly turned back on and showed why hardcore boxing fans considered him one of the best prospects in the HW division at one point in time.
After Miller the pressure of being undefeated was taken off and he was content being the "opponent" in these kind of fights. It's pretty clear Dinu hasn't loved boxing for quite sometime, but he still valued being an undefeated prospect to some extent. First defeat took that pressure off. Dinu has the skills but not the heart/hunger and love of the sport to succeed.
